Hi! 👋 I’m Christina. Welcome to my page. 😊

About Me

I’m a multi-award-winning plant-based entrepreneur, recipe developer, food and travel writer, and cookbook author.

I’m the author of The Sous Vide KitchenA second edition was later released, Sous Vide Cooking Made Simple, and it was also translated into Italian (Sotto Vuoto). The books are available in bookstores as well as on AmazonGoodReads, and Kindle. That being said, in 2018 I adopted a plant-based lifestyle and am writing a book that reflects my current diet and ethics. It is set to be published in 2025. Watch this space!

I have had the pleasure of working as a professional writer for 15 years. My projects have taken me around the globe, and I’ve lived in Hong Kong, Thailand, the UK, and Australia. I’ve worked for, and contributed to a wide variety of international and national publications, including The Times (UK), Time Out Melbourne (AU), Time Out Hong Kong (HK), Time Out Dubai (UAE), Broadsheet Sydney (AU), Broadsheet Melbourne (AU), Nourish (AU), Traveler’s Digest (HK), Wining & Dining (Thailand), GRAM MagazineCHICoverdose (International), Samui Holiday Magazine (Thailand), Fah Thai Magazine (Singapore), Langton’s Wine Magazine (AU), View London (UK), The London Magazine (UK), Hopper (US), Thalo (US), A Magazine (AU), African Impact (South Africa), Destination Weddings (UK) and many others.

In 2013 I founded the online magazine The Great Aussie Bite (The GAB), for which I led a team of 60 writers across Australia. The GAB featured small businesses offering unique and meaningful experiences all over the country. I was honoured to be featured in Startup Daily, and interviewed on Eagle Waves Radio, MyMP Radio and by The League of Extraordinary Women for my work. I am proud to have contributed content to Australian state tourism. I wrote articles for Destination Phillip Island featuring key tourist attractions such as the iconic Phillip Island Penguin Parade, as well as exciting food and wine venues. I also had the privilidge of being involved in South Australia Tourism’s Tasting Australia initiative, shining a light on chefs, wine-makers and unique produce from the state.

In 2020 I founded the frozen food manufacturing company VeganReady, which is now a multi-award-winning enterprise that ships frozen meat replacements and ready meals all over Thailand. The products are sold in top supermarkets, and are featured on the menus of restaurants and hotels. I also co-founded the award-winning restaurant Vegan Junkie.

Being involved in meaningful initiatives is an important part of my life. I have had the privilege of dedicating my time towards, and holding fundraisers for projects such as Charlie’s Children’s Charity, Samui Elephant Sanctuary, Pariah Dog Sanctuary and Trash Hero. I was proud to be on the founding board of Project Gen Z in Australia, where we travelled to Cambodia to teach entrepreneurial skills to young Cambodians from vulnerable communities. I have spent time in South Africa volunteering as a wildlife photographer and conservationist for Green Vision, and in 2023 I completing a Wildlife Conservation course with the aim to focus more of my efforts in this direction going forward.
